My Story
Hi, I'm Adanna, and it’s a pleasure to meet you! My mother was an interior designer, and my passion for interior design was ignited by a decade of watching my mother provide full interior design services to her clients. Those early years shaped my love for design, and I often joined my mother on trips to furniture stores, assisting in sourcing and picking decor for multiple projects. After a career path that included technology and public health, I returned to my passion for design. After receiving invaluable mentorship in the field, I embarked on my journey. I founded "Designs Without Walls," a studio that allows me to continue providing the services my mother discontinued due to her feeling a call to public service.
My background is as diverse as my designs. I have a strong foundation in public health, which makes me prioritize health and safety in every space I create. With project management skills under my belt, I manage project deadlines and contractor relationships with ease. Furthermore, my experience in the tech and business industry has equipped me with the insight to dot every "i" and cross every "t," ensuring a professional approach to managing every interior design project. One of my core values is being a good steward of limited resources. I understand the importance of optimizing budgets without compromising quality. It's about delivering exceptional results within the means available. This philosophy allows me to create stunning spaces that resonate with my clients. I am not just an interior designer but also a keen explorer. Having visited six countries and explored many states, travel has become a source of inspiration for my designs.
